i'm back from JE lib.
if u dunno, theres a short "gig" held there juzz now.
bands playing were "munchies at nine" and "my blind december".
munchies at nine were already playing when i got there.
they sounded really great.
they're a band of 6, 2 vocalists, 2 guitarists, a basist and a drummer.
basically its a female-ruled band coz theres 4 females innit.
oh yar, they play screamo/punkrock.
theres a lot of people there btw.
most of them look like poly/ite students.
and yar, majority are punks.
the basist looks kinda "cool".(eherm...)
she has this gotic-y/punky mysterious look.
to tell you the truf, i'm kinda confused abt punks.
actually its between punks and gothics.
some punks and gothics look kinda similar.
eyeliner, black nail polish, black clothing...
BUT, wears studded belts, arm "bands", etc..(those punk accesories)
can anyone clear my mind off this confusion.
what DOES a punk and a gothic usually wear?
music wise, punks usually listen to punk music but gothics listen to?
oh man, i really am confused rite now.
is gothic juzz a way of dressing?

his pitching was OUT.

thinking of getting another pick, but the closest guitar shop i know is at causeway point...haha...

either i go to woodlands, or go home.
so i took the train to woodlands.
BUT, i didn't drop at woodlands.
instead, i went down at at choa chu kang.
dun ask me why.
then i realised how small lot 1 was.
the popular shops was mostly there but the place was juzz too small lah.
so then, i took a bus back home.
boring trip man, shud haf gone to causeway.

my cheek fell flat on the ground
then know wad, my pimple burst.
it was bleeding.

so i bought some picks.
then went next door to this music shop.
it sells cd.
browse and browse, then alamak, axis of justice ah.
i've been looking for it at hmv but can't find.
so firstly i took out the cd from the rack,
then the second thing i did was to check the price.
its $19.90.
so the third thing was to check my budget lah.
theres $18 in my wallet, then i got some coins in my pocket.
luckily enuff.
so i bot the cd lah.
now i'm broke.

watched two bands perform at a gig there.
actually there was four bands.

mrs yip tot she had an asthma, so everyone was panicking.
haha, very funny scene.
back in class, lessons like usual.
i nearly got detention juzz for not bringing my lit text.
so i spit out any reason i can think of to not go for detention.
luckily he took them.
then skool ended and the next day was a holiday.
haizz...
if i know abt the fri holiday, i won't even come to skool.
now, my fever is gone, but the sore throat stayed.
poor thing u know, cannot eat anything spicy or crispy.
worse, i've finished up the lozenges.
hope it's gone by next week.
so aniwae, i'm goin to the gig at istana park tomoro.
fatskunks performing.
must watch.

its the first day of skool, and her first day in css but she had already started her craps...
act strict and all dat kinda stuff...

but the gig was great.

more like a group or so.
theres more chairs than audiences.
BUT THE BANDS WERE GREAT!!!
ok, the bands dat somewhat "impressed" me are those dat i remember their names lah...duhh...
onli got 3...hehe...
theres "glitched", "fatskunks" and "this band made out of 16 yr olds".(sori, i didn't quite hear u'r name)
the last four songs which "glitched" played was all system's.
wohoo!!!!
and of course, i'm a system fan if u dunno.
then there was the band wif 16 yr olds.
they were damn awesome.
played mostly iron maiden's songs.
the guitarist was like a pro oready.......
then the best was fatskunks.

okok, during the soundcheck.
the bass guitarist played this mario tune/music.
u know, those music when u play mario.
style ah...
then they oso played love song.
reggae oi!!!
oh yar, then when they were playing.
there was this apek.

he's either really sporting or kinda sort in the head...

afta fatskunks was subway stars performing.
honestly, they dun sound good.
