cheap stuff dun come good

i just got back from "Esplanade - Theatres On The Bay" watching this "school made production" of this chinese named story. the main character was the 9th and only boy in his family. he was the most educated, but felt that his life was planned, yada yada yada. . . . the acting was good, but the dance performance was kind of odd and distracting. choir was ok. some bad points about the performance was that in some part, the actor's voice was not loud enough and when the band started playing, we had no idea what the person was saying. the theatre was very grand indeed, but the seating plan was very idiotic. i was unfortunately seated at the one rowed seats facing diagonally to the stage. being high up, most of us can only see the right side of the stage. it sucks. so anyway, the funniest scene i would say is the giving birth part and the part after, when the phoneS started ringing. hilarious. well, thats the most i remembered. the revision part i'd say was overexaggerated.

so, would i have bought a higher priced ticket to watch that? yes.
a $100 ticket? definitely NOT. a $25 ticket is the most i would have paid. quality is not bad lah, just need a few twitches here and there.

something unrelated to the performance. e-mail sent to a wrong recipient.

An Illinois lady left the snow-filled streets of Chicago for a vacation in Florida. Her husband was on a business trip and was planning to meet her there the next day.

When she reached her hotel, she decided to send her husband a quick e-mail. Unable to find the scrap of paper on which she had written his email address, she did her best to type it in from memory.

Unfortunately, she missed one letter and her note was directed instead to an elderly widow, whose husband had passed away only the day before.

When the grieving widow checked her e-mail, she took one look at the monitor, let out a piercing scream and fell to the floor in a dead faint. At the sound, her family rushed into the room and saw this note on the screen:

DEAREST HONEY: JUST GOT CHECKED IN. EVERYTHING PREPARED FOR YOUR ARRIVAL TOMORROW.

P.S. SURE IS HOT DOWN HERE.

if you live in the west and always take the EW line to town, try taking the NS line back home.(better if u'r going home at night). in that state of tiredness, stand beside the door and look outside. while doing so, think of the different areas that you've passed, different estates, how dark, quiet and little activity that place is and has. remember that these places are quite unknown to you as you usually take the EW line home. imagine that in the same state of tiredness, u were out of the train and in the dark and quiet estate, alone. you are lost as you are unfamiliar with that area. what will you do. your legs are aching, stomach is empty and are uncomfortable in the clothes you are in. you then realise the importance of home. a place where you belong, where you can get not only shelter but also love and care.
think about it.

EW: East-west line NS: North-south line

read this and count how many Fs there are. the answer is in white, just so you don't peek. so you have to highlight to see it.

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE-
SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIF-
IC STUDY COMBINED WITH
THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.

*highlight from here*
answer is 6 Fs
if you counted 3, hi five. we have average intelligence. hah.
the reason why you saw 5 or less Fs is because we forget about "of". it says we see the F as a V instead. oh well. blame it on our brains.

*to here*

for those of you who wants footages of Punkrock Returns 3, go to www.gigvideos.com or googlevideo
the googlevideo link will get you to 5 foot glory's vid. from there, click more, from or related. theres also some vids from other gigs.

tomoro is skool, and i'm glad to say less than 50% of my hw is done. they friggin change the time table again. tomoro will have PE, then have to walk to malay classroom, followed by common test(which i dun tink there is any tomoro) later on and followed by assembly. crap man. BUT, atleast we got a new SS teacher. Ms Esther Leng. reminds me of a primary skool teacher. once i stepped on this small zip lock bag and is exploded real loud. what i guess is, she got shocked, got a friggin wake up call, then came to me and asked me to stand against the wall. haizz.

just got back from the electronic shop at bugis. the whole place was friggin cool with electronics and stuff, but, so id the price. do you know that ONE white LED cost $1/ONE dollar. and fyi, an LED is the small light thingy. my O level project uses 20 of these lights, so this means 20 x $1 = $20/-. they're all so tiny, when put together in a bag, its just ironic that $20 is what that small thing in a tiny bag is worth.

a funny conversation joke thing which was from fieka's pm.
zaiton bertanye suaminye, "abg suker dgr lagu aper?"
suaminye menjawab, "reggae, ton."

Monday, March 13, 2006
ok, this is what happened. i was on the computer when i hear this rnb or hiphop music(i cant differentiate whats rnb whats hiphop. both sound the same) coming from the neighbour. i thought it came from the one below me, so i tried something. you know that by placing your ear to the wall, its possible to hear the sounds coming from the next room. but do you know that you get the same results by putting your ear to the floor. it damn well worked. well, wanna know what i heard from my neighbour below. DAYONG SAMPAN DAYONG SAMPAN!!! frigginly hilarious.

re-motivation
Monday, March 06, 2006
had no lessons today, just an ss test followed by adam khoo's booster camp. honestly, the motivational talk thing is really useful. it works, but sad to say, the effect only last for a short period for most people. Ramesh was the first talker followed by Amin. hes ok, considering that he had just joined in. jokes are quite lame in the beginning but i went with the flow later on. well, good news is, I HAD BEEN RE-MOTIVATED. i prayed just now, after weeks of not praying(except friday prayers). see, how powerful the effect is. shooked Amin's hand and said thnx. i mean, it made an impact on me lah, so i thanked him. well, i have to do my compo, which is 2 weeks late. lets see how long the motivation will last.
