DVC code breaker challenge
Wednesday, April 26, 2006
anyone joined the The Da Vinci Code Breaker Challenge?i dunno why The DaVinci Code made it so high up. its not the first book Dan Brown wrote, but maybe because the book contains factual, realistic accounts and objects. stuff like the priory of sion, mona lisa painting, the louvre. added to that is the puzzles, anagrams, etc, along the story allowing readers to actually take part. its cool to know(if its real) that leonardo da vinci was once the head of a secret organization called the priory of sion. the organization was said to be holding on to something that others should not know. some say its the gold cup(or sumthing. i forgot.), others say its documents that can contradict christianity. but, apart from the book, wikipedia suggests that its just a marketing strategy of dan brown's. at the end of the book, the holy grail was not found, but sophie found her brother whom she thought was dead. along with her brother was her grandmother, also someone she thought was dead.
overall it was an awesome book. i got mine in malaysia, heh. read it on the bus back home. continued reading it for the next 3 consecutive days until the end. so far, this is the book i've read in record time. very much enthusiastic about this book. if you have a friend who tells you he finished the book is a short time and thinks that hes over-exaggerating, u'll understand him when you read the book. u'll get caught.
