update on work
Tuesday, February 19, 2008
I wouldn't call my part-time position as retail associate at Challenger a job lah. Its more like something i'd do out of fun and as a learning process. Once i clock in and get to my department, check stocks, move them up, fill up empty spaces, look after zone 8(audio section) and move around once in a while. I talk to strangers spontaneously now, unlike like time where i don't even talk to stranger so suddenly. The trick of selling a product is simply confidence, knowledge on the product and a bit of "konek konek". Confidence is the main key here.ok, got to stop here. CSI just started. haha. till nxt time. bubye

haizz. lets just put that aside shall we.
I have been wanting to update this blog for quite some time. I guess blogging isn't much of a thing now compared to before. Maybe because my life is now complete with someone who i can share stories with, i think.
Aniway, I have started my first-time sales associate job at Challenger Funan. I work at the hardware department, zone 7 and 8. If a customer asks for anything else that is not in my department, just refer them to the other zones. Cool right? haha. First day went swell. Got a short briefing before work and off we go. It was only one or two minutes into work until a customer asks me for assistance. heh. Its quite tough for me because some questions are just out of my knowledge level. Some cool things I wanna share with you guys. The 'in' thing right now is networking, skype and big fucking portable harddrives. Networking being routers and stuffs, skype is quite popular to very high-class people who uses skype but know little knowledge abt it and lastly the big fucking portable hard drives. Ones like My Book by Western Digital and FreeAgent by Seagate. These two are really the hit ones right now. The packaging looks very simple yet attractive. Packaged in Red Blue and Green. Ranging from 320gb(if i'm not wrong) to 1Terabyte. TERABYTE!!!! ONE THOUSAND GIGABYTE. wtf rite. I asked some customers whether they need that much of a memory. THEY SAID YES. God knows what they are for. One thing is for sure, i'm grabbing one! I'm eyeing one of those and a creative zen.
ok. this is where i get lazy to post more. haha. its a spontaneous thing i guess. kk. bubye. dun forget to drop by and TAG MY TAGGIE. =) take care
